Jeans front pocket workmanship

The coin pocket has already been applied
to the front bag piece.

Pin the pocket bag right sides together onto the front and close the entry seam. Snip the seam allowances in the curve.

Start unfolding the pocket bag as we need it to be
on the other side.

When the bag is on the other side press the entry flat and topstitch the entry.

Turn the garment to the other side and prepare to fold the bag at the connection line between the notches.

Fold the bag at the marked line and press. The edge will not align with the side seam and the top as we need some extra ease.

Serge the lower bag seam or create a
french seam like explained in the video.

Align the side seam and the top edge and topstitch very close to the edges to secure the bag underneath.

The entry should have enough ease for the hands to slide in. This will almost disappear when wearing the jeans later.
